AMED Co. Ltd. was established in June 2009 by young entrepreneurs who wanted to start a business of their own and chose to enter the promising new biotechnology industry, specifically the recent area of wound dressing, which is required in medicine. Since its inception, AMED has successfully developed different hydrogel sheets, for example, PU films with hydrogel sheets to form advanced wound dressings. The effectiveness of all of our products is tested by validation with key technologies and patents are then filed for the same. We have obtained/are in the process of filing patents for a formulation that induces UV cross-link in hydrogels, pharmaceutical acrylic adhesives, and other manufacturing technologies.
Currently, AMED is focusing on the development of combination wound dressing products. We also have strategic alliances with research institutes for developing advanced wound dressing and transdermal pharmaceutical products. Our vision is to provide high-quality and multifunctional wound care products and to combine conventional medicine, traditional Chinese medicine, and transdermal systems to develop these products.
The Production Department of AMED is in WuGu Industrial Park . This Department will be responsible for our line of feature products—HeraDerm. The pilot run is scheduled for June 2010, and large-scale production will be launched in August 2010.
AMED is expected to lead the market because of the diversity of products it offers. Furthermore, we will continue to be committed to integrating core technologies in wound care with advanced materials, in order to meet the new demands of the wound care market. Developing an Own Branding & Manufacturing (OBM) Unit is the ultimate goal of AMED.
Our current and future goals are geared towards giving people an opportunity to lead a better life. We help people with our professional attitude, intelligence, and innovative products, and most importantly, with our passion. The benefit and healing that people derive from our products is very important to us. We believe that every piece of dressing counts to reducing the pain of the individual when it is applied.
