HeraDerm wound dressing hydrogel for surgical application is a multi-layered dressing that is composed of a moist-balanced hydrogel and a transparent PU film. The hydrogel layer maintains the wound in optimal moisture condition and enhances wound healing process. The transparent PU film protects the wound with a waterproof, gas-permeable and bacteria-obstructed enclosed system. The hydrogel loses its adhesiveness once hydrated with exudates and is painless to remove from wound tissue.

The downward pressure flattens granulation tissue to prevent scar growth after the hydrogel absorbing exudate and swelling.

Hydrocolloid might result in the overgrowth of granulation tissue.Due to downward force, HERADERM wound dressing hydrogel for surgery application suppresses granulation tissue and reduce the formation of scar potentially.

A+Gel Auto-debridement

Based on pure water and wound moist replacement theory, Auto-debridement exchanges necrosis tissue from wound, maintains wound moisture and provides enough space for cells moving and repairing.

The hydrated A+Gel would lose its adhesiveness.Dressing is non-adhesive to the wound and pain is minimized during dressing change.

Hydrogels have marked cooling and soothing effect on the skin, which is valuable in burns and painful wounds.If stored in the refrigerator, they can provide cool relief to painful wound sites.

Neuron cells generate more pain signals because of being dehydrated in a dried healing environment. The exposed peripheral neurons sustaining in a moist healing environment generate less pain signals so that diminish patients painful sensation and feel more comfortable in healing process.

Recommendation to frequency of dressing changes

1. Clean the wound and surrounding skin. Keep the skin in dry.

2. Remove the white release paper and apply the exposed side of the dressings to the wound. Ensure the wound is completely covered by the dressing hydrogel.

3. Press PU film gently to fix the dressing.

4. Remove the transparent release film.
